Cooperation Among Departments Helps Women Get Needed Screenings
Female health plan members got a little extra care when they came for their flu shots: those overdue for mammograms got appointments—many on the same day. Two unit-based teams—one from the flu clinic, the other from medical imaging—worked together to make the process flow smoothly. In doing so, they made real the promise of KP’s signature “under one roof” system of care.
